Not sure if it has been mentioned... But IOSH - we can not add formatting to the posts, there is no ability to separate the paragraphs, spell check etc... Which just makes everything look messy? I'm all for change, but this is making people look unprofessional

Hi lukebeeston - we're looking into paragraph spacing at the moment. The forums don't have a spell check feature. If you use Firefox or Safari browsers, they have spell checkers built in. You're able download Internet Explorer spell checker plugins - search online for 'IE spell checkers'. Thanks, Tom

Agree that the lack of spacing between paragraphs is problematic and it's making messages very difficult to read.
I also want my user name changed ASAP as it was not made clear that when we rationalised from two to one logins for the new forum, that the login would then become the new username.

Thanks Tom - I am trying it out...
Can someone tell me how long it is before being automatically logged out? It is really annoying. I think there could be a 'keep me logged in' option.

Tom, I can't download any plug-ins for IE; I have to be thankful our IT people let me look at the screen and touch the keyboard, no chance whatsoever of getting permissions to change any configurations. An embedde spill chacker is what I need,

Hi Twinklemel - was 'Twinklemel' your old forum username? We've either brought over your old forum name, or generated one for you. We're currently looking into adding a tool to allow forum users to change their screen names. I'll post a sticky when we've sorted this out. Thanks, Tom

Hi John - unfortunately we can't provide an embedded spell checker - you could always copy your posting into a Word doc to check for typos. Could your IT people give you access to Firefox? Thanks, Tom

Use Firefox? Why would they allow me to do that? Like I say, I am allowed to actually touch a PC....

Seems to have worked fine, thanks Tom. It even changes previous posts, as it should. Well done chap.

IOSH - I am with Twinklemel with this, i did not have a full name as my screen name in the old forum, this may put people off posting (due to being traced to a specific person when it comes to work etc..)

OK...
Quick reply gives me paragraphs!
However...
I have completed my 'My Profile' details a number of times now, and saved them (allegedly) but they keep disappearing.
Has anyone else experience this? I can't waste time inputting my details each time I log on.

I'ts taken me a week or so to get on, after the "forgotten password saga". Well worth the wait. I'm sure the bugs will iron themselves out.
