GS 53 does not appear to exist anymore. Would anyone have access and be able to tell me if it specificed a period for such inpsections?

GS53 has a table of recommended frequencies. Frequencies are given for (A) High risk and (B) others and for "routine" "regular" and "principal" inspections of each category. Thus (A) is monthly;N/A;every 14 months and (B) is given as N/A;14months;42months.

Note another instance of that much discussed (on this Forum) 14 month cycle.

Another hoarder after my own heart!!!!

I wonder sometimes if one can use withdrawn guidance even if there is no alternative in print. Why did the HSE withdraw it in any case.

It is available via CIS or IHS , if you are registered with them / pay.

Is this not the way a lot of these documents will be going? Available from industry bodies or subscription services only.
