We don't know the cause of this latest incident but following on from the recent Merlin Attractions Smiler ride incident it is becoming a worrying feature. I wonder if it is time for a review of this type of entertainment to see how inherently safe the design, manufacture, maintenance and operation of this equipment is?

The report notes previous issues.

On the BBC this morning while talking about the latest incident, the Smiler ride was blamed on human error again. The computer did the right thing and an engineer overrode it!

So that would make it the engineers fault then!
