I have invited for a interview in which I have to give a 10 minute training presentation on the importance of health and safety anyone out there got any advice or resources that might help

www.web-safety.com may have some ideas you could use. Go to the safety exchange section.
If it were me, I would base it around the benefits of maanging health & safety: Moral, Economic and Legal. This would give a logical structure and be easy to fill 10 minutes. Contact me direct if you need some more help - I may have some stuff you can use e.g. accident cost iceberg clip art, ppt slides etc.

Steve, I agree with Nick. I would also emphasise the financial benefits to the company, many companies now ask for 'value added service'. I assume that you have already looked at the company web site (assuming they have one) for the company safety related 'buzz words'.

Mark you are so right in what you say. Since starting to use these forums to get advice on different issues. I have found that everyone is willing to share his or her experiences and knowledge with me. I have gained much from using the forum.
