UK trained doctor with 2 year diploma in occupational health and 7 years experience in industry. Interested in staying in occupational health after returning to UK in mid December.

PROFILE:
Highly motivated Occupational Medical Practitioner with seven years’ experience in a large company that has introduced a comprehensive safety, health and environmental management programme over the last four years. Completed two year diploma in Occupational Health in 2001 at Wi[expletive deleted]ersrand University and graduated with distinction winning the gold medal for top student. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Proven leadership skills involving the establishment of an Occupational Health Department and developing a team that has been able to achieve their objectives. · The occupational health department at Hippo Valley Estates Ltd. has received recognition from the Zimbabwean National Social Security Authority (NSSA) and other Anglo American group companies as the leader in occupational health standards in Zimbabwe.
· Key player in the establishment of occupational health guidelines for the Anglo American Group Companies in Zimbabwe and for NSSA.
· Significant reduction of ill health retirements in cane cutters due to chronic back strain after introduction of a back care programme.
· Completed issue based risk assessments on cane cutting and noise and a risk assessment for the medical division each of which have led to detailed action plans to control identified risks.
