Posted By Stuart Beaumont A vacancy has arisen for a NEBOSH (min part 1) qualified dynamic safety professional with knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to integrate within an established SHE Team. We are not a typical SHE Team and are involved in a variety of activities which includes providing consultancy services to large blue chip clients, predominatly Planning Supervision at the moment, although with the intention to expand the service offer. The company is one of the leading refurbishment contractors in the UK which provides the complete service offer from Design through to Facilities Management. The position will be based in Cheshire although you will be expected to visit projects throughout the UK. If you are a proactive forward thinking Safety Professional we would like to hear from you. To this day, I have endeavoured to attain both qualifications and experience in all aspects of this subject. Currently, I am completing the Nottingham Trent Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental Management. In addition, I hold a Hygiene Certificate and am a qualified First Aider. I am an experienced communicator and teacher. I currently lecture at Deeside Collage in Fire and Safety. I am also a good listener, who can act upon information received. I have good problem solving skills and am computer literate. In my eighteen years as a Fire Officer and five years as a Health and Safety Consultant in a Pharmaceutical Company, I dealt with fire safety and health safety in all types of environments. I have learned to work productively and effectively use my initiative, as part of a team or independently, whichever the situation called for.
