Posted By SRJ Hi all im new to this message board so heres my first question. Im 37 yrs old and considering a career in H&S, for the last four years i have been working on various construction sites within the civil engineering dept, prior to this i was employed as a network technician untill the big downturn in computers. So now i have an option to go my own way into H&S currently studying Neebosh general and a HNC in Construction. Or My employer has offered to pay for me to complete a engineering course. What is the job market like for H&S advisors as i seem to get a mixed response from the safety people on various sites i visit some saying loads of work and some worrying about shortage of jobs. At 37 i believe this would be my last career change so i want to try to get it right. Thanks Steve

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Steve Some respondents to this forum have described a catch 22: they can't get a safety job without experience and they can't get experience... Check some of the previous threads to try and form a view. Paul
