Looking for advice: Diploma Part II or Not? & Looking to change jobs

Dear All
I don’t know if someone can help me. I currently work in the construction industry, implementing a new safety management system, writing policies, procedures and developing new ideas for literature publications. In the last year I have attained the following qualifications, SMSTS, Scaffolding Safety Inspection Course, NEBOSH Cert. (distinction), NEBOSH Construction Cert. (awaiting results).
Hopefully I will pass my construction Cert. and be awarded Techsp membership of IOSH I am intending to go straight to studying the NEBOSH diploma part II and not do part one at this stage. – so my first question is could anyone advise me of the pro’s and con’s of doing this, I am a very fast learner and I strive to be very successful in this industry therefore I want to get ahead as quickly as possible and keep studying to my maximum potential. Additionally if I leave my current position I will have to fund this myself – so if anyone knows of any training providers that were good value for money please let me know.
My second question is that I want to become a consultant and also become qualified so I can prove training to companies/individuals. Although I already have a considerable amount of knowledge I don’t to take it on on my own yet, therefore I am looking for a consultant to train me/monitor me. I know I am capable of doing it but I like to be accurate in my job and know I am doing it the right way, I am still quite young at the grand age of 25 (female) and know I still have a lot to learn. – any ideas of how I can approach this would be welcome, I know the SHP have a lot of vacancies however not many of these offer the training that I still feel I need.
In addition to this I have a law back ground.
I look forward to receiving your comments.

As far as I am aware you cannot undertake Part 2 of the NEBOSH Diploma without submitting all assignments for Part 1 and you cannot take Part 2 exams without passing Part 1 exams.
I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time !

Looks like was wrong, if you have Tech SP you can undertake NEBOSH Diploma Part 2.
From the NEBOSH Site:
Entry to a programme of study for Diploma Part 2 currently requires one of the following:
Diploma Part 1 (or satisfactory completion of at least four of the five assignments, submission of the fifth and attendance at a Part 1 examination)
N/SVQ3 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
eligibility for membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health at TechSP or higher grade.

Cheers for the comments -I have decided to go for my Diploma II... alot of hard work but it'll be worth it. - Nothing like a good challenge.
I am still in the same employment, but if anyone does have any suitable vacancies then please let me know either for now or in a years time when I have MIOSH membership and on my way to becoming a registered RSP.
Many thanks.

You can get Dip Pt2 equivalent via the Open University. It also works out at about 1/2 the price, also has the advantage of covering environmental issues, so you don't have to pay for IOSH Environmental training too.
I have paid about £2500 over the past 3yrs. I estimate Pt2 Dip and environmental training could cost £5-7000, depending upon your trainer organisation.
OU can be slow, but if you have the spare cash, it can be quicker, it was my choice to take 3yrs.
