Posted By colin j fraser Hi, I have over 15 years operational experience in various industries, marine, power and chemical. I have been actively seeking a H&S position for over a year. Although I have not been directly responsible for H&S I have taken an active role, I have NEBOSH cert and sit Dip 1 exams in June 2004, do I: Continue with NEBOSH Dip 2? Stay with Dip 1 and keep applying? Best regards, Colin

Posted By Kelvin George Colin If you're smart enough and financial secure enough I would say go for Dip2 and get the full diploma. You should then be in a position to go for a wider range of positions because you have the necessary qualifications. It might not make everyone happy but employers who are not in the H&S as a business but as a requirement will be totally impressed with the qualification. Cheers Kelvin

Posted By anthony o'keefe Good Morning Colin Please excuse my hyjacking of your thread, I have tried to contact Robert Hartland direct but I seem to be having some technical difficulties. Robert do you require anybody in the East Riding of Yorkshire or surrounding areas, if you do you can contact me direct to obtain my CV. Colin if you can carry on with part 2 you will find that this is a very good tool to have in the bag for your future career development, GO FOR IT!
