I am hoping to go CIS4 self-employed as a HSE Advisor / Consultant. I believe that I need Private Indemnity Insurance and also Public Liability Insurance to cover my advise and actions. Can anyone offer me advise, e.g; How much cover will I need?; Do I need both the above insurance covers; Which is the best insurance company, bearing in mind reputation and cost?
4. What am I likely to pay for each policy?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
regards,
Keith Morison

Keith
I have found SMG Professional Risks both helpful and competitive about insurance indemnity cover.
If you want a quotation, I recommend you get in touch with them on 0113 294 4000, and ask for Jill Price

Hi Keith,
I don't know where you're located but having recently established our own business in the Midlands we researched the local insurance providers. After many phone calls and discussion we found Nick Toms, at Perry Appleton, Rugby. Nick is extremely helpful and understanding you can contact him at nick.toms@perryappletons.com

Alan,
Thank you very much for Nick Toms details.
When I am ready to start CIS4, I will definately try him. As I am on my own, I naturally want the best deal.
regards, Keith

Keiran - I tried that number but they no longer do H&S! And Jill has moved on.
