Posted By Brett Day Perhaps the wrong person to contact, but I responded to a previous post from AIMS, no requirements were given re: qualifications. I duly responded and followed up with a phone call, I was told that I would be contacted. A month later still nothing. Would some one pay me the courtesy of responding ? It would be appreciated.

Posted By Mike Miller Common problem with some Agencies, they are just not worth the bother. OK you might just not fit the bill, fine, but a phone call or some feed back would cost very little. However that would be the decent thing to do!

Posted By Graham Frobisher I have had a similar experience to Brett regarding this post. This vacancy has been advertised previously, obviously without success. Perhaps we are the one's out of step expecting an acknowledgement of an application?

Posted By Brett Day Thanks Gents, I was begining to wonder. Just lately I've been finding that companies want absolutely top notch service 200% commitment from prospective employees but don't even do them the basic courtesy of responding. I had an interview with another company last week, was told you should hear something Monday, Tuesday at the latest. If not phone Wednesday, I eventually got a reply late yesterday. Still I suppose it's better than one company I went to last month, was told to phone back, and heard in the background 'if it's either X or X tell them I'm not in. The Agency involved, took this up with the company and eventually got a straight answer. If companies can't be bothered when they are supposed to be 'selling' themselves, I can only shudder at how they treat the emlployees.

Posted By Brett Day I actually got a response late last week (not the one I'd hoped for though), to whoever prompted that, thank you.
