Posted By John Redfern I am currently acting as Health and Safety Advisor for a small building and joinery company based in Derby after having served 16 years in the Army followed by 15 years in pathology management within the independent healthcare sector. Undertook NEBSM Certificate in Management of Industrial Health and Safety in 1990. Completed several H&S courses and training including Managing Safely, risk assessment, accident and incident investigation (including root cause analysis), construction safety, transportation of hazardous goods and workplace noise assessment. Currently half way through NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Safety and Health (completing Oct 2004). Additional experience in quality management, infection control, occupational health and environmental issues such as hazardous waste. I am now looking to develop my career further and would bring enthusiasm and general management experience to any interested party. Regards John Redfern
