I am looking to teach basic H&S to adult learners, I believe I need The city and guilds 7407 in further education to do this,
but am not sure how to go about getting accreditation to enable myself to issue the Basic H&S Certificate.
I currently hold the Basic H&S certificate and the NEBOSH General Certificate in H&S,
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance Steve Kirk

My work e-mail is mcmib001@rgfl.org.uk

As mentioned previously talk to the people at your local college. I have almost finished my Certificate in Education a two year course that entitles you to teach full time in colleges. as there is a big push at the moment to get people into teaching the courses are free. The fees if you were to pay are about £1,500 per year. I personally would advise you to stay away from private training providers as a) they charge the earth b) a lot of the short courses they offer do not give a nationally recognised teaching qualification.
If yo ned any further info get in touch.
All the best
