You are doing yourself and your company a disservice - and you are showing yourselves as being really desperate for work.
It would make me think twice before considering you for any services you offer.

Geof
why? I don't think there's anything wrong with offering advice etc - basically pointing towards our services via our website and offering individual advice - which we give to anyone who contacts us anyway.
If you will explain in more detail why you are offended, perhaps i can answer you

Toby - you can't be serious. I agree with Geof's sentiments and what you are doing is tantamount to professional soliciting.
The IOSH forums should not be used for 'advertising' and people that ask for advice or comments do so safe in the knowledge that they will get it impartially.

Ray

You are not offering advice, you are advertising under the guise of offering advice.
I've already said how it appears, why not just look at the guidelines for the site and adhere to those.

Very Very Very Tacky
Oh by the way
Anyone thinking of doing the NEEBOSH courses, shop around first as there are many companies out there that will try and charge astronomical ammounts such as £4000 when in fact you could get the same for half the price.
Feel sorry for those using these companies for NVQs. :) :) :)
Now thats advertising

Having read comment by yourself and others I accept having overstepped (innocently) some mark which is unacceptable to you. maybe it was the wrong forum for this approach.
may you find your way

Another Thread picked up what Mr Clark was doing. See "Message for Moderators" Thread which explains what action the Moderators have taken.
He did post a response suggesting he accepted that he had innocently overstepped "some mark which is unacceptable to you." Of course unacceptability is not measured against how individuals might feel but against the Acceptable Use Guidelines which Mr Clark subscribed to.
Mr Clark has been contacted by the Moderators and reminded of those Guidelines.
Given these actions I have "Locked" this Thread.
