Health and Safety Professional with diverse range of skills is seeking part-time (or full-time) work. Qualifications range from NVQ4 to PgC in Occupational Health and Safety Management (Current course of study by distance learning), and include OHSAS 18001 Auditor, Asbestos Surveyor (P402). A diverse range of work experience in everything from Sewers and Pumping Stations, Highways Maintenance, High risk works on the Defence Estates (Authorising Engineer) to Manufacturing (non-food)and includes overseas postings. Specialist in confined spaces work and training (including breathing apparatus).
Currently in employment as group Health and Safety Advisor, that is moving from full-time to part-time now that employers health and safety management systems are in place, operational, and 18001 acceditation being sought. Hence seeks additional part-time or new full-time post.
Based in the South East (Rochester, Kent) can travel within reasonable distances, and not adverse to nights-away if necessary.
Willing to 'job-share' on a part-time basis (for full time role) and also open to enquiries for limited fixed term appointments or consultancy style work from employers seeking assistance over a short term period. All types of work considered.
Own car/home office/IT with broadband internet access etc. CV available by email to interested employers and free to attend interviews most days.
