I am confident of my presentation skills, but need help with the subject which is "H&S issues that are likely to effect the organisation in the next 2 years". The employer is in manufacturing. Any pointers would be very appreciated.

Posted By Mike Miller Seems obvious, but what future European influences/Legislation is in the pipeline. What about Corporate Killing! now there's an issue likely to have an impact on us all. Securing Health Together and Revitalising! are these going to have a future impact either because of failure or success. Then there is Corporate & Social responsability, Do we have a conscience or is legislation going to give us one? I can definately see future legislation to make companies publish health and safety performance in annual reports along with profit & loss sheets. Ahh I can see it now! (Yes share holders we did well this year with 3 Billion pounds profit and oh! by the way we killed 5 workers and polluted the atmosphere 7 times in doing so') With a little imagination you could go ape with this question, however be carefull not to scare them too much. Posted By Robert Paterson Hi Carl You might like to consider the proposed change in the Noise Regulations due to come within the next two years. This would effect the employees if they are in a noisy environment. Kind Regards Robert Paterson
