Posted By BLACKIE I am currently 4 weeks into NEBOSH Gen. cert.& i am considering doing a dangerous goods safety advisers course in the near future, i also hold a CPC freight national with 17 years experience on road haulage (mainly tankers), would these qualifications be sufficient to help me start on the road to a new career within the haulage/chemical industry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Posted By Niamh P. Joyce Hi Blackie, I recently passed the DGSA course and found it very informative and educational. I have experience of working in the chemical/pharma industry and still learnt lots. In addition, the course was very good for introducing you to the transport/haulage aspects. My advice though is to use a course provider who possibly has experience in either of the industries as well. Regards, NPJ
