Jodie,
There appears to be a lack of communication from your end (judging from various feedback over the weeks). Lewis, I believe, like myself has submitted his CV with NO feedback.
Does this mean that we are all poorly rated safety professionals, over qualified, not worth employing or something else?
Having been in management for a couple of decades I can speak from experience that if you don't tell people what is going on, they will make up their own story.
Communication is a two way system. Us it or others may abuse it.

There seems to be a lot of discruntled Safety pro's out there with a problem with AIMS.
No other Consultancy seems to get this much bad press on the Careers forum,Perhaps the MD should get involved to put things right and post his opinion.
Safety is a hard business at the best of times so fair play is a must as most of us experience up hill struggles on a daily basis.
I would hope they are not one of these consultancies that charge clients a fortune and pay staff slightly less than the going rate as salary bands are never mentioned,I heard of one firm recently charging £800 a day for a service and the safety officer was on just 22K in London,That just seems unfair and greedy.
My opinion is that the invidulators should post a response and air their feeling on this ongoing saga.
All most Safety pro's want to do is work for a good employer and do a good job

We do send an acknowledge to all email's we receive and then respond with feedback once the recruiting manager has looked at the CV's.
Obviously our managers are also working on other issue's and are also not office based so this can take a while for the correspondance to be turned around. This is detailed in the acknowledgement email.
Hope this clears up any queries you may have but please contact me if you need any more information.

I do not understand why there are a few people who continue to complain about our recruitment and selection process.
I can assure you that any CV's or responses we receive from the IOSH site receive a communication from the HR Department.
I have stated before on this forum, that Aims are in a period of significant growth and we like to use this site to inform professionals in the Health & Safety environment of what we currently have on offer.
If any individual wishes to make a complaint in respect of our process, please do so, to me personally and I will investigate.
For your information, the recent posted responses to non communication are unsubstantiated. We have not recived CV's from these individuals although I cannot rule out an IT problem for us not receiving them. However, if that is the case, then I feel we should have been given the opportunity to investigate that avenue before our Company name and reputation is discredited.

Always good to see Safety Professionals being ......"professional".
Surely making open remarks about a specific consultancy on this forum is detremental to all of us in this profession. And as remarked by both Ms Peach and Yvonne from AIMS, if you take the complaint to them directly they will come back to you 'directly'. Which sounds fair enough to me.
Come on guys!
Cheers
Paul

This forum is for the safety professional to receive ans pass on information to others and discuss experiences.
I believe that this also counts towards employers and agencies who have advertised on this site.
Are all the individuals who have posted information on this forum aiming to be vendictive? I don't think so.
If employers/agencies are unable to act in a reasonable manner I only think it is fair that others know. Equally, if they are good let others know.
I'm sure we are all grown up enough to make our own minds.
If by placing posts on this site it makes things better for other members in the future, it gets my vote.
