Posted By Jim Walker Yet more people required. We have successfully recruited people via this forum earlier this year, due to continued expansion and internal promotions, I’m looking for more Health Safety & Environment Advisors to work in a very interesting high risk industry. You will be well-qualified individual, preferably with some training experiences and maybe also CDM environment experience. Trainee positions are also available. The jobs will be based near Thurso, Caithness, Scotland and locals (or ex-locals) are to be preferred. Those willing to re-locate will be considered, if they can demonstrate an understanding of what relocation to this area entails. We offer a good employment package coupled with training facilities to enable you to achieve you CPD requirements with considerable ease. E-mail your cv to me at jim.walker@alstec.com

Posted By Keith32 Guess these jobs are at Dournray nuclear plant or something associated with it. Don't be so shy about stating the location - I guess most 'techie' safety people will guess anyway. Would love to get into the nuclear industry, but it seems to operate on a closed shop principle and on the usual 'no job no experience/no experience no job' cycle. Most technical recruitment consultancies seem to be equally blinkered, because they have to secure their commission bonus etc.

Posted By Jim Walker Keith, No closed shop as our new staff will verify. Myself, I've not been assiociated with this industry for two years, yet. However, all things being equal, experience has to tip the balance.

Posted By Mike Miller I am interested in this job as I was the last time. I seem to remember being contacted earlier in the year regarding the same project but a different contact person? Does anyone actually relocate that far north? I have no idea what sort of accommodation would be available to migrant workers or where I would start to look. Can I bring a caravan? My CV is attached anyway and hope to hear from you soon. Cheers Mike
