The Agency plays a critical role in protecting people from infectious diseases and in preventing harm when hazards involving chemicals, poisons or radiation occur. The HPA has a new vacancy for a safety advisor at one of its sites, working primarily in the Corporate Services Division and Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre, as well as providing support to the site Senior Safety Advisor. A large part of the post involves overseeing the implementation of safety management systems for the control of contractors.
