Hi

My name is Martin Walker and i have just left the army after 22 years. During my later years i was responsible for the H&S for about 15 offices and 60 personnel.

As part of my resettlement i obtained the NEBOSH General Certificate with a distinction. I am now looking for my first job within H&S. I am based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and am prepared to travel within a triangle of Cambridge, Peterborough and Bedford.

I am also looking at doing the diploma in the near future.

Is there anybody out there that can help me?

Thank you for your time.

Martin

Martin,

Welcome to civvie street. Did the same resettlement course myself after 20 years in REME and was able to land a good job.

Have you registered with your local RFEA as this was where I obtained my job interview from.

Definately suggest you continue to study for the Diploma.

To all out there give the ex squaddies a chance.

Good luck with the job hunting mucker.

Keith
