Posted By garyh This look like an interesting and responsible position, requiring professional SHE and Training expertise. However the Salary is 16K, which in my opinion is absymal. You can't be serious!

Posted By Claire Allinson I'm afraid I am serious! The Wise Group is a charity. In addition, no actual Health & Safety experience or responsibility (apart from the normal as a supervisor) is required.

Posted By Robert Paterson Hi Claire
I think you might be contradicting yourself a wee bit.
You say in your last posting that no experience of Health and safety is required, yet your initial thread posting cals for experince of professional developement training and Health and Safety with particular qualifications in H&S.
Good idea to clarify this point you make about "no experience required"
Good luck in finding someone for the position. This might be an ideal position for someone trying to break into Health and Safety.
Kind Regards Robert Paterson

Posted By Stephen Boardman Hi Claire, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications required but no health and safety experience required?. with respect if you want these qualifications you are asking for quality individuals, I may only be speaking for myself but I have spent many weeks, months and years training to be a competent safety practioner, and i learn new things every single day. I am not at the top of my profession by a long way, but if you want someone like me and there are many... charity or not suggest you start by multiplying that 16k by 2. Dont get me wrong money isnt everthing but I could work as a labourer on a building site for 16k. P.S no disrespect to labourers.
Regards Steve
