Posted By Sanny Jabonete Gents, I've been working for the past seven years as HSE personnel in different countries in the Middle East. If fatalities has occurred ,the safety personnel in-charge is always in trouble. The Police or government agencies has always blamed the HSE dept., instead of the engineer, foreman or manager. Is that right? SANNY J.

Posted By Anthony Edwards Sanny, This would be better off on the OSH discussion forum and not in careers. Document inspections and recommendations from all audits, assessment etc that have been passed to management. Ask at meetings when will recommendations be actioned and if they are not going to be actioned why not. Ask for completion dates and document everything as evidence in case things go wrong. regards Nutty
