Posted By Lorraine Dyer We are planning a national safety training program in the new year starting with Directors. Can anyone recommend any reputable training organsiations (preferably with experience in the charity sector) who will train on our sites. Also in choosing an organisation what credentials we should be looking for. Any help appreciated.

Posted By Arran Linton - Smith MIOSH RSP The Institution has a Register of Safety and Health Consultants and offers a service to match up accredited IOSH members with clients seeking competent advice. The aim of the Consultancy Services is to make it easier for organisations - large and small - to gain access to professional advice on safety and health issues. The key value of the Register is that it provides verification of individual competence. How to find a consultant Contact Murray Clark tel. +44 (0)116 257 3151 or fax. +44 (0)116 257 3101 stating your name and address or fax number to obtain information about employing a consultant and a form to state your requirements. When the form is returned, a list of consultants that most closely matches your needs will be provided. This use of the Register is free. It is then up to you to contact the consultants listed and discuss your needs with them. Of course, should you decide to employ a consultant, you will have to negotiate fees separately with the individual involved. All those on the Register of Safety and Health Consultants are qualified, Corporate members of the Institution. I hope this information helps you.
