Posted By David Partington I have an application form for a post. Part of the requirerments of the post is contractor selection and contract control. In particular: "The company's contractors should have an industry lower quartile level of incidents and accidents" Whilst serious incidents are recorded via RIDDOR I am not aware of other sources of accidents rates for lesser injuries. Is anyone able to enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

Posted By Bill Fisher David First of all if you take the post, change the words - plain english they are not! Other than RIDDOR many companies feel that with improved standards the RIDDOR system does not measure the lower end of the scale in fine enough detail. In these cases a lot of companies are also measuring/using the OSHA - the American - system. It measures Lost Work Days, First Aid Cases etc. If you wantto chat further on this, please give me a call 1847 803340) Bill
