Posted By Ken Taylor If a medical practitioner (doctor, optometrist, etc) has prescribed specific lenses in writing, a sensible employer would be well advised to meet the cost - but I don't think we could prove these to be ppe at present. [Although I should be pleased to be proved wrong!] It would be worth speaking to the road safety people at RoSPA on this one (0121 248 2000) as they have had views on anti-glare lenses and associated loss of eye performance at night in other respects.
