Posted By Lorraine Dyer I would appreciate any advice on the following. We have a member of staff sitting near a photocopier and she complains that when the the copier is used for large volumes she can smell the fumes. Apart from re-siting her if possible (it may not be) getting the copier serviced and checking ventilation in the area are there any other issues I should consider? What are the dangers from photocopier fumes/dusts?

Posted By Ken Taylor As well as the information on fumes, dusts and Ozone that others are going to send you, remember the heat and flashing light that can emanate from these machines. Ideally move the photocopier to a safe well-ventilated room away from seated employees.
