Hi

Does anyone have any idea where I can get information on slinging and rigging techniques other than found in BS 7121. I have some info off the main crane hire companies but I'm looking for a "text book" type publication if there is one.

Regards

Peter

Thank you!

Not sure why I didn't think of that myself. Lack of good quality coffee in this office I think.

The LEEA do a small but very fact-packed pocket book (A6, 120pp) - details on their website under 'publications'

www.leea.co.uk

They also have a larger 'handbook' which concentrates on equipment specs and performing inspections.

North Sea Lifting Ltd. Publish the International Rigging & Slinging Handbook. The pocket book is as good as it gets for a lifting reference book. Tel: 01224 208988.

PS I am nothing to do with them before you lot start....

Cheers
