Clam Shell Bucket - Do they have a safe working load

Does a clam shell bucket have a stated safe working load or is it assumed that it is capable of lifting a full load of heavy material (e.g. stone). Also when it is attached to the arm of an excavator is it treated as part of the load.

All equipment capable of lifting loads should have a 'plate' identifying maximum loading!!
If not - ask the manufacturer as per the last respondee.
