Posted By Ricka Just a quick one folks, I currently want to run our operatives through the IPAF route for MEWP competence opposed to the CPCS route, but would like safety proffesionals working for major companies to give me their opinion on which card is acceptable. cheers

Posted By Rich 123 IPAF seems to be accepted on most construction sites, however NPORS, RTITB and ITSSAR all provide accredited courses and can be less expensive, it really depends on the site manager. CPCS are widely accepted but are normally the most expensive.

Posted By Ricka Thanks peeps. I have never worked on a site where they have not been accepted however it seems clients now are getting more choosy on the cards that they will accept as competency, all our operatives are very highly trained all hold CPCS/CSCS/PASMA cards etc and where necessary carry out specific training.
