Has anyone had experience with slip & "grip" hazards with epoxy resin flooring?
We have just completed a four year project spending £200K on new flooring around our site (Light Industrial) replacing old lifting floor tiles (trip hazard) the last installation took place at Xmas in our locker / main entrance area and since then we had had numerous problems
1. Normal ladies leather soled shoes are slipping which I believe may be down to the fact that it is being polished daily & we are investigating the if we are using the right polish in the correct ratio's - probably due to more admin members walking on this floor than other areas
2. Rubber soled safety shoes are causing a "gripping" sensation resulting in two major injuries in two months. The floor is designed to grip better with FLT application so I guess it is obvious that rubber shoes would grip.
We have both the flooring manufacturer & polish supplier coming in to take & look & hopefully perform some pendulum grip testing but the argument I'm getting here is this floor has been installed in many organisations similar to ours without any issues
I know from experience that this is a can of worms, but any advice would be appreciated

Hi,
I expect you have measures in place to ensure that dirt/contaminants/weather are kept outside and are not walked in and onto the problem floor surface? Also do your cleaners know how best to clean the flooring e.g. correct cleaning/polishing substances and suitable concentration, correct cleaning/polishing technique, recommended cleaning/polishing machinery, have all the cleaners had the necessary training and instruction, are there agency/temporary cleaners working early morning/late evening who haven't had the training? Sounds like you are already using the manufacturer's recommended cleaning/polishing agent.
