Hi Ladies and Gents,

I am compiling vibration rates for various tools and processes. We have measured a lot and have the company returning to complete the series in a couple of months.

In the meantime does anyone have a usable 'ball park' figure to use for monitoring users cutting a variety of woods - MDF, hard, soft etc with mains 110v and 240v, and battery, jig-saws please.

Willing to exchange info on other processes (carpentry and metalworking) too!

Regards,
S

S,
Take a look at http://www.operc.com/havtec/default.asp. You'll need to register but they have quite a substantial database of vibration measurements for a variety of tools and materials.
