Posted By Brenda H Anyone any thoughts on what information should be kept on site within blocks of flats a landlord is responsible for?
i.e. should a record of electrical testing or fire maintenance checks for example be kept on site, or would it be sufficient to keep it at another central location belonging to the landlord?

Posted By apetrie Hi Brenda.
I'd have thought that keeping information in another location or office would have been sufficient; provided that any interested person is provided with a contact name & number for such things as asbestos management plans / survey reports, or electrical test & inspection records etc.
That would mean a reduction in the number of photocopies being made, thereby assisting with the business' environmental policy?!
Also removes the need to store such information in a location where it could 'walk'.
