We are looking for a mechanical hoist or similar equipment to lift double glazed units (approximate sizes 2100 mm)to the second and third floors of domestic premises. There is also no means of access to the front or rear of the properties using plant, e.g. Telehandler.

Do any members have any suggestions who and where we can purchase such a piece of equipment?

i'm sure there are systems that may be clamped onto window frames etc.. I take it you are installing everything from the inside?

Perhaps it will be necessary to create temporary access where none currently exists?

You can have a vacuum frame which is attached to a crane.

Sometimes used in high glazing installations.
