Posted By D H Agreed - the banksman is there as an extra pair of eyes and is there to assist.The driver is responsible for the movement of the vehicle. If the driver disputes any instruction given by the banksman he must stop until the matter is clarified. Roles and responsibilities should be documented and make clear to all. Dave
