Seeing as I'm on wind down now and have little to do I thought I would reminisce and ask your opinions on a H&S point of view. Around 4 years ago the company I worked for had a particularly successful year and as a result rewarded the employees with a trip to Fuerteventura for a long weekend. There were 90 employees in total travelled for a week mainly consisting of drinking. Having read a few previous discussions about the worries surrounding a xmas party I wondered if you thought this type of reward could realistically still occur? Thinking back, all of the key management (as well as employees) were all on the same flight so if it had gone down I don't imagine there would be a contingency plan in place for the company's survival.

Sorry, although they were generous, that should read as a long weekend, rather than a week.
