Hi,
Can anyone advise the reasonably practicable effective measures to raise the humidity levels in an office where the air is described as being too dry?

I have looked in to this subject recently, there are machines called Foggers, if you google that name it will come up with all the information you require

Depends on what heating you have - water filled radiators can have the 'olde worlde' hanging water conrainers put on them, the water evaporates into the room.
(Or you can bring your wet washing in to work to dry, that would have the same effect lol)
Otherwise its some form of equipment that humidifies (humidifiers), these are readily available as a plug in poratble device, some a/c systems have a humidify feature built in, have you checked any you may have?
I summer, evaporative coolers are very effective and both humidifying and cooling, I have used these in the past in a very hot and dry factory with excellent results.

Hi
I normally recommend a saucer of water placed on a window sill and have found this to be the most successful and cost effective way to solve the problem. It must only be a saucer full as it then has time to evaporate and not go stagnant or build up 'bugs'.
Take care

I go with plants too! Not only can they improve humidity they also improve the overall appearance in an office. Choose wisely though as not all 'off the shelf' plants cope well in such an environment.
