Don't go expecting any actual help from the job centre (or any jobs). Take care not to sign yourself up to anything you can help, it gets in the way of real job hunting. Take care with that universal jobmatch web site, do some Internet research (before going to see them).

6/03/2015 - update

I have decided not to register at the job centre but focus on getting job.

I have the airport interview on Monday and I have managed to secure another interview with a manufacturing company on the 17/03/2015.

I have also received calls with other openings which may require working away from home am considering.

Have a great weekend!

Kojo - i am sorry to hear that thus far your endeavours have not been successful, something i find that helps me when i am turned down, is to request for feedback, this allows me to evaluate my performance and if required adapt my approach for next time.

From reading the posts your clearly qualified, and have the experience required, usually at 2nd interview stage it is more about how you would fit with the team, so it might be worthwhile having a look at some HR type competencies and formulate your examples around 'team approaches'

I wish you luck

Matt
