Redundancy
Hi, I have recently been declared ‘surplus to requirements’ (ie redundant) and I am looking for work in the H&S area.
I am CMIOSH qualified and have 12 years’ experience providing health and safety to a government research lab( with about 300 scientists), covering everything from, labs and COSHH to DSE, manual handling to lone working in remote locations.
I’d like work in the York area.
Please PM me if you want more information.

You could try being a consultant, possibly until a suitable salaried job comes up? I would also try Universities etc

There seems to be a lot of this about.

Before this gets locked, there is a web site specifically for Government department research type area which may be of use who sometimes have H&S jobs. But I can't remember the name. I will PM you when at home later with the web address. Worth a look.

Sound like they will soon be one lab accident away from a super villain.

Best of luck with your search
Chris
