Evening all, does anyone have any good inspiring questions to ask an interview panels at the end of the interview? The position is H&S advisor. Thanks in advance.

Simple: Ask them how they see H&s developing in their organisation in the next few years. They should have a good answer and then you can tell them how YOU will fit into this new vision.

What is it that gets them up and out of the door in the morning- this gives you a bit of an idea of what kind of people they are too

The questions you want to ask at the end of the interview are not that relevant to your interview to be honest. So long as you have answered all the questions they ask to the best of your knowledge. We have had people ask us all sorts of personal questions which again are not relevant to your interview and to be honest the panel are not there to discuss their professions - although there is nothing wrong in asking what sector they come from. The panel cannot tell you how you have done either, this has to be assessed individually and confidentially after the interview and they can only discuss as a group after they have marked.
The panel are volunteers and have been carefully selected by IOSH with regardsto training and background to be able to fulfil this role and have to be a minimum CMIOSH already.
To be honest asking questions at the end only delays you getting out the door. Use the time if you wish to maybe clarify any answers you feel needed more explanation or clarification.

I think you may have misunderstood the question, Ang, this seems to be about a job interview, not a Peer Review Interview for Chartered.

Unless they have already been answered try - What will be your KPI's? Are there any burning bridges that need immediate response/actions? Why is the position vacant - what happened to the previous incumbent? What training and development opportunities will be open to me/you? HTH Stuart

Ang may have been referring to the peer review interview, but to be honest, much of what they say holds true for any interview
Any questions would need to be about what else you need to know, that wasn't covered during the interview.
I've been an interviewer for years and I have never given anyone extra points for asking good questions at the end. Often, the best candidates will have covered everything during the course of the interview.

'What salary could I expect if I was fortunate enough to be offered the position?' would sound a lot better than the quoted question, or 'What's the salary then?'
