Hi everyone

I was looking for your advice - I am hoping to have our HS&E Management systems certified to 14001 and 18001 later this year but I am having problems finding a good certifying body. They need to be UKAS accredited and have some experience working with research and development in science. I would be interested in hearing what companies you have used and who you would recommend?

Many thanks

Claire Curtis

Environmental Management Systems:

Otherwise, a "big" name can always be a safe solution, e.g. TuV. Furthermore, I don't understand what you mean good. All accredited bodies are accredited for a reason. If you mean accredited and cost efficient, well go through the list, prepare a bid e-mail and fire away. Otherwise as I said before, turn to the big names.

Thanks for your guidance. We are looking for a company that has experience of auditing R&D. Thanks as on UKAS you can look at what they specialize in.
