You might only work 25-30hrs per week now, but check your contract of employment, there maybe a clause restricting your employment from other sources.

You will also set up either as another company or sole trader if you are going to tell the taxman....

With the balance of hours you need to ensure you get enough wotk to justify the costs of setting up. As an associate, the other company have no obligation to offer you work. Tread carefully

You will need Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance as a minimum. The amount for both will depend on what your client(s) require & the cost to you will depend on the nature of the work, i.e. higher premiums if you work in the construction industry, etc.
