Hello,

I have done TUC diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in 2017 and now I am finishing BSc Occupational Safety, Health and Environment top-up at Middlesex University. Does anyone knows who would employ me in the role? My previous roles were not strictly focused on health and safety, as example team leader, where I did have to oversee my department including hse activities as company did not employ dedicated persons, in another I had opportunity only to cover HS coordinator role for 3months.

I found it frustrating that Graduate schemes are requiring to have experience, quite often I am getting to the interview stage, but than I hear that I do not have enough experience for their graduate scheme or not having feedback at all. 

I have worked with HS statistics, assessing, inspecting, auditing, improving and investigating etc and my dissertation was around risk perception by various characteristics.

If someone could guide me to the right place where I could utilise my potential within the role I would be thankfull.

Employment roles invariably seek relevant experience either within an industry sector or within a specialist field with academic qualification being merely a selection criteria during the recruitment process.

Your post is very broad "who would employ me in the role" - what role? what industry? what specialisation? health and safety is a very wide spectrum of employment - once you determine where you would like to work and as what you may get a bit more guidance on how to get to your goal.

Graduate schemes do not necessarily (can't think of a single employer) lead to a position in H&S so it is possibly business accumen that is proving your stumbling block in this potential career path and typically most business leaders discovered through such schemes are non-technical so it is relativley unlikely you will become a CEO from a background founded in H&S.
