Hi,

Has anyone taken this course by any chance? I try to stay away from BBS and off the shelf solutions because I believe it's become a mash-up of terms and methodologies.

I would, however, be interested in a decent learning process on leadership and I stumbled onto this a while back. Couldn't find much info on it and I don't want to part with 235 pounds without a review.

Any thoughts or opinions would be welcomed. (about the training, preferably, not the man behind it)

Not aware of any Behavioural Safety courses by IOSH for leaders. They do a Leading Safely course which is based on the Plan/Do/Check/Act management system. This has only a short face-to-face element and is based around identifying weaknesses, and then making a 'personal committment' on how and when you will address these.

I was refering to this course. Seeing how it's IOSH accredited, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules.

Looks really expensive for a elearning course. I did an on-line Behavioural Safety course for free from the OU.

From my point of view you would be better off doing a Psychology HE Cert or Diploma...and applying the principles to your workplace...that was the route I took and ended up doing my MSc in Psychology...it gave me a better understanding of human behaviour than any BBS course could...

I was thinking about that, but I'm currently enrolled into something else. I guess, I'll dish it out and self study until I have the resources for a psych degree.
