I am just after the opinions of anyone who has taken or is preparing to take the NEBOSH H&S Management for Construction Certificate OBE.

I have been looking at some recent actual NEBOSH H&S Management for Construction Certificate OBE papers and I must say that some of the questions and scenarios seem to be very vague and loosely worded.

By that I mean you could answer the question not only one way but another depending on how you interpret the question in relation to the scenario.

I would have thought that clarity is required in order for you to give a correct answer especially in an exam.

It seems to me that you can only answer certain questions by including “assumed” applicable information which hasn’t been actually stated.

Is this something that you feel is correct?

If it is, did your training provider inform you accordingly of what is actually expected by NEBOSH in order to answer these papers even though they deliberately lack what I would see as essential for all levels of candidates to attempt them?

I'm not aware of this particular qualification, but what you describe is normal for NEBOSH.
