We have full waste managemnt in place and accredited to ISO14001 based in the UK. A customer has asked if we could store and recycle their waste at our locations. We hope to then amalgamate our own waste Do I then need a waste carrier licence? if so do i need it for general waste and hazardous waste? any advice appreciated

From my understanding you would need an upper tier waste carriers licence as you handle waste from another company and will arrange for it to be transported and diposed of.

We assume there is already a lower tier waste license in place for your own stuff, now need to change to upper tier. Just disrise upper tier is renewed but lower isn’t. Can we assume their waste is like yours or are there other considerations to be had?
