Hi - I'm wondering if anyone has any experiance of weighted doors in mental health settings.

These are doors which are designed to prevent ligature attempts. They have sensors on them which trigger an alarm if weight is detected. 

I'm intersted in understanding if these doors change staff behavioir, i.e. do they become complacent in visual observations...and also in service user behaviour, i.e. if they know the doors will trigger, does it reduce liklihood of attenpts. 

If anyone working in the area has experiance of using these doors I'd be keen to hear about your experience.
