All,
I work for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, an area where we are looking to improve upon is the risks associated with floor cleaning. We have the necessity to clean all floors on a shiftly basis, to do this we use scrubber dryers and mops however, I quite often come across small areas of wet floor where the scrubber dryer cannot reach, these are usually cleaned with a mop but I am then left with a wet floor, currently we are dry mopping these areas until they are dry but this is very time consuming! Does anyone have or have had a similar problem and how did you tackle it?
Many thanks,
Scott.

Scott,
have you looked at use of air drying for the residue after mopping or squeegee in those areas?
You may also benefit getting your QC department involved, especially in production areas as water residue will have it's hygiene problems? This may give more muscle in the design of your flooring and how to avoid pooling of water and use of labour for more productive elements?
