IOSH Managing Safely is quite a good one to start with (or that's where I started) or your NEBOSH General Certificate perhaps if you have some prior experience? Have you been involved in health and safety previously?

thanks jodie! your suggestion or advice is a big help for me as a new aspirant. Now I decided to take IOSH managing safely as a first step and take OSHA afterwards. Again, thank you so much. I hope I would be able to send you a pm if I have some querries regarding this..:)

anyway, I've never been engaged in any health and safety activities although I am currently working at qatar airways as ground handling agent. I just attended some trainings like basic safety airside, aviation security awareness, dangerous goods awareness and among others training provided by the company. I don't have training yet regarding HSE.

Juan, Start with IOSH Managing safely, Also check with Airport Council International, They have a diploma program for Airport Operations which include Professional Certificate in Airside Safety.. You can complete the course and assignments online via interactive web.. Later try to go for Nebosh IGC..If you need any guidance drop me a mail, I work in Qatar. Good luck Pradeesh

Of course you can- we all have to start somewhere! I had left university and due to the waiting list for the prison service (my initial career path) I ended up being a cleaner- but I worked my way through IOSH MS, NEBOSH general and fire certs- it took some time due to my lack of experience but I got that break and don't look back now!
