Hello Everyone, I have just recently graduated from University of Salford, Manchester where I studied Safety, Health and Environment. I have also registered for the NEBOSH General Certificate exam in Health and Safety as I have discovered that most Health and Safety jobs request for this despite the fact that I have a masters degree. At the moment, I am desperately in need of an unpaid part-time or full-time position (specifically within Manchester) where I can gain first hands-on practical experience in Health and Safety. I also have work experience from various administrative roles where I have developed a number of skills as I have worked as a customer service at a Bank, as a Screening Executive at Reed Recruitment Please, I will appreciate if anyone can help with this. My email address is titilolamalumi@yahoo.com. Thank you.

..having also completed the same degree 18 months ago at Salford - might I suggest you use the Uni careers and alumni office for support. They will be able to seek voluntary placements or work experience, or at th every least guide you. You should have done a placement anyway in your MSc programme so possibly look at returning to where you completed this. (I would also remove your email address from your post given the potential for spammers!)

Doing the NEBOSH cert with your qualifications is a utter waste of time and money. Your insight as an ex recuitment screening Exec should enable you to work around this far better than many. If your CV (with your insider knowhow) can't survive the first cut then there is not much hope for others
